KRENN TO GUEST AT APRIL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

PITTSBURGH (April 8, 2004) - WDVE Radio Personality Jim Krenn has signed on to be our special guest speaker at the next AFTRA General Membership meeting, Monday, April 19, 2004 at 6:30 PM at the Steelworkers Building, Boulevard of the Allies and Stanwix Street.

Krenn has been called "King of the Morning" by Pittsburgh Magazine. His humor entertains two generations of listeners every morning on the 'DVE Morning Show.  Originally from the Strip District, Jimmy was first a successful standup performing in venues all over the country.

Jim has been part the 'DVE Morning Show since 1988 when he joined Scott Paulsen, and is famous for his great one-liners and special characters like Bobby Subgum, Stanley P. Kachowski, Scorekeeper and of course his cat Ralph.  Krenn is a skilled impersonator, adding hundreds of voices to the morning mix. (Oh wait... that's another format!)  In 2001, Randy Baumann replaced the departing Paulsen, and today Val Porter and Mike Prisuta round out the 'DVE morning lineup.

Bottom line... Krenn is the guy you want to have a beer with.  We also know him as a long-time AFTRA member and friend. Make sure you're there for this rare opportunity.

All AFTRA members are encouraged to attend.

The monthly meeting of AFTRA's Board of Directors will begin at 5:30 PM, immediately preceding the Membership Meeting.
