ADDITIONAL COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS MADE

PITTSBURGH (March 11, 2004) - AFTRA's March Board of Director's meeting finalized rosters for two other important committees, Negotiating and Scholarship.

Scholarship Committee Chair Mark Roberts revealed the additions of Vice-President David Early and Board member Helena Ruoti to the group. Local Board Secretary Susan Chapek had previously been named.

President Martino announced his selections for the Local Commercials Code Negotiating Committee. Susan Chapek was named as chair. Jeff Bergman and Mark Roberts are on the Committee.

The Local Commercials Code expired late last year and is currently on extension.

The Board also began discussions on selecting speakers and entertainment for the April and June membership meetings. Details to be announced as soon as they are finalized.
